On the forgotten continent of Libris, far beyond the great Earth Dome, the Astravolt Circus traveled between floating cities and black salt deserts. Its performers were considered miraculous beings. The blind tightrope walker Mireya sensed magnetic fields with her fingertips and balanced across glass wires stretched through violent storms. The beast master Oren presented silent moon creatures whose silver fur glimmered in darkness. Above them all soared the acrobat Silex on mechanical wings forged from ancient starships. At night, the circus tents transformed into glowing libraries because every performance was recorded on living paper pages. Visitors crossed mist oceans for weeks just to witness the spectacle. One winter, however, a crimson comet appeared above Libris. After that, memories began vanishing from the minds of spectators after every performance, while the circus itself grew larger and more magnificent. No one knew whether the comet had cursed the circus or whether Libris itself had started reclaiming its stories from beneath the wandering tents of forgotten ages.
