In the second Earth Ring lay the vast Ocean Ouroboros near the glowing shores of Terra Novo. Its waters moved in slow spiral currents that shimmered like liquid stars at night. Deep beneath the surface lived the Coral Beings, ancient creatures formed from luminous stone and living light. Their bodies grew like reefs and carried the memories of forgotten ages within them. The people of Terra Novo believed the ocean could breathe and respond to the emotions of the world. Whenever violent storms approached, the Coral Beings rose from the depths and released silent songs through waves of glowing vibration. Travelers spoke of enormous coral temples hidden beneath the sea where time itself stood still. No one knew whether these stories were true, yet every night Ouroboros reflected impossible colors across the sky and reminded humanity that some mysteries were never meant to be understood.
