On the continent of Neu Bavaria lived the Pawfolk, a feline civilization hidden between vast forests, alpine valleys, and ancient stone towns. They were not ordinary cats, but intelligent beings who walked upright, built towering halls of carved rock, and carried stories through song and wind. Their capital city, Clawenheim, stood high above the valleys on sunlit cliffs connected by narrow bridges and glowing lantern paths. Warm purring echoes filled the streets day and night. Every Pawfolk possessed a unique gift. Some could sense changes in the wind, others could navigate by the stars, and a rare few could recover things long thought lost. The elders believed the Pawfolk were born from the first sunlight that touched the sleeping world beneath Neu Bavaria. Because of this, their civilization remained deeply connected to warmth and light. One winter, the sun above Neu Bavaria began to fade. Cold shadows spread across the valleys, and the lanterns of Clawenheim slowly dimmed. A young Pawfolk named Lira followed the last weak beam of sunlight deep into the mountains at the edge of the continent. There she discovered an ancient forgotten lantern containing a dying golden spark. The moment Lira touched it, light returned across Neu Bavaria, the snow began to glow again, and warmth flowed back into Clawenheim.
